The church family at SMBC is involved in numerous local minsitries designed to share the love of God and the Gospel of Christ in our community. Examples of our local ministries are:
Cancer Partners
CancerPartners is a group of people committed to encouraging and serving others who have been touched by cancer. Their goal is to provide a prayer base to enable individuals to sense God’s presence and strength.
Gate City Day Camp
The Gate City Day Camp provides a safe, caring place for children in inner city Birmingham during the summer months. Children are offered plenty of fun and the chance to hear about what Jesus did for them.
